OUR FIRM
From the beginning, our purpose has been simple: to solve problems and help people
OUR STORY
How It Started
Founded in 1946 by John Ritter, the firm grew when Dan Randolph joined in 1977, followed closely by Mary Ann Jacobs in 1979. From the start, John, Dan, and Mary Ann shared a common goal: to take care of clients by solving problems.

How It’s Going

OUR CULTURE
“Stuffy” should describe your nose during flu season, not your lawyer.
Our firm is built on a warm and friendly family-first philosophy – a philosophy that’s not just a “work thing,” but a general “caring-about-people-thing.”
This means you can expect to be put at ease when you talk with any of our attorneys or staff. And despite what you may see on any courtroom television drama, we’re not here for the money but for the relationships (truly).
OUR CULTURE
Generational Leadership
We take to heart the advice we give: plan for the future.
With over 75 years of experience, we stay committed to training the next generation of attorneys to solve problems with the same sense of care that John Ritter built his reputation upon.
Ritter & Randolph’s senior leadership mentors younger associates by creating an “open door” culture through which aspiring leaders have access to a wide range of cases – and, more importantly – client care opportunities.
Interested in a career at Ritter & Randolph? We purposefully seek out and nurture lawyers and support staff who are interested in continuing our legacy of client care and community service.
OUR OFFICE
Your home – or ours – we are there when you need us.
Our office is in downtown Cincinnati, but our presence extends across the region.
That’s because we’re committed to meeting you wherever you need us. If that’s at your mother’s bedside on the west side, we’ll be there. If it’s at the closing of your new property north of I-275, we’ll be there, too.
And if you decide to visit us downtown–in what looks like a big, fancy building–we promise to be ourselves: unpretentious and humble.
