We’re here for you - helping you plan for comfort, security, and care in the years ahead.
Compassionate Elder Care Attorneys Focused on Your Needs, Not Just Your Age.
The attorneys at Ritter & Randolph were some of the first in the country to commit to the evolving practice of what is now known as Elder & Long-Term Care.
Translation? We’ve seen it all.

Time for what matters most.
The time you have with loved ones is far more important than the time you spend chasing answers from several different agencies and providers.
We provide comprehensive and compassionate counsel in all areas of Elder and Long-Term Care so that you can get back to what’s most important – your life.
Long-Term Care Planning
Ensure quality of life, financial support, and access to services that match changing health conditions.
Asset Protection
Safeguard your wealth and property from lawsuits and other financial liabilities.
Medicaid Process
Apply for and manage medicaid benefits for yourself or a loved one.
Advanced Medicaid
Advanced Medicaid planning takes place during the healthy years, long before nursing home care is anticipated. Early planning can help protect your assets through strategies like retitling property, gifting, or creating specialized trusts. By planning ahead, you may qualify for Medicaid more quickly when care is needed — without having to "spend down" everything you have worked for. With the right strategies in place, it is possible to access government benefits while preserving your financial security and protecting your family's future.
Crisis Medicaid
Crisis Medicaid planning occurs when someone unexpectedly requires nursing home care and is suddenly faced with overwhelming costs — often $15,000 or more per month. Unfortunately, these expenses are rarely covered by private insurance or Medicare. In a crisis situation, our immediate goal is to protect as many assets as possible while helping the client qualify for Medicaid benefits. We work closely with families, nursing facilities, and Medicaid caseworkers to ensure the client’s care continues without interruption, while preserving the maximum amount of assets permitted under the law.
Elder and Long-Term Care can start at any age.
The truth of the matter is that everyone can benefit from services often labeled as elder care.
